The first of many Weekly Updates!

Hello and this is are first ever update, as you know there isnt a great load to talk about as we havent got the incredible Halo Reach at are disposal. So Im gunna make do with the intel I got so far at the moment, take a look at the stuff that will happen when Reach releases and this weeks news!

Group Growth

So are group currently has 58 members with a small few being very active in the private forums giving great ideas, take a look and help get the forums more active. Are current member target is 100 and you can help us by telling your friends and advertising us how you wish, the more members the more likely we will get into the spotlight!!!



Current Ranking System

So at the moment we have the four base ranks... General Forger, Heroic Forger, Legendary Forger and Mythic Forger... Secret ones are available for particularly active members!!! You can give ideas for names in the forums if you want.



How Competitions Will Work

So here is the full length information on how are themed forges will work. On the first Weekly Update after Halo Reaches release we will reveal the specifications for the first map competition e.g. An Infection Map based in the canyon, Then you will have until the next Weekly update to Submit your entry into the thread called "Map Submission #1". The submission will require a link to the map file, its three best gametypes and the piece of music you would want if it wins.(Explains later)

Then in the following week i will test all the entries with varieing groups of testers and then marking the maps based on Gameplay, Ascetics, Balance and Wow Factor. After the testing is done the top three maps will be featured in a YouTube video for that week, the runners up will only have a short showing however first places map will be completely shown off with gameplay and overview. Also the first place maps music choice is what will be use in the video, Hope you like the Idea

Prizes!!!

As mentioned on the bungie page there are going to be competitions for us forgers to make maps and submit them to a panel of expert judges, but whats that i hear you say "prizes" well something physical would be nice but we live in different parts of countries and postage prices would be high so we give you a reputation you win one of our tough challenges your name will change from say general forger or heroic forger to something more epic and you could become a forum and forging god so try your best and in the words of Groovinator57 Stay Frosty
